About the Position

We’re seeking an exceptional Sr. Content Marketing Strategist to shape our enterprise category and fuel our go-to-market success. In our view, an exceptional content marketer understands intimately our buyer and their motivations. They know who to target with what content, when to target them, and how to target them. An exceptional content marketer is equally gifted in content strategy, psychology, communications, and editorial excellence. Exceptional content marketers develop category-specific content strategies, deliver market-desired communications timely, hold and deliver editorial excellence, and ultimately ensure that our content efforts deliver exceptional business results.

In order to outpace our business objectives, the Sr. Content Marketing Strategist will need to collaborate with product marketing, creative, demand generation, community, customer success, and other key team members to develop a creative and innovative content strategy and plan which positions as a category leader in business communication. You’ll develop and deliver our content via the top performing B2B channels – video, podcast, and long-form written. As the Sr. Content Marketing Strategist, you’ll differentiate’s brand with true thought leadership and content that keeps us top-of-mind with our target buyers and other industry influencers.

Over the first 3 months, the Sr. Content Marketing Strategist will develop an in-depth knowledge of our business, the market, our target buyers, their motivations, their challenges, and the information and knowledge they seek regularly. The Sr. Content Marketing Strategist will develop and gain buy-in for 2022 “ Editorial Calendar,” and the plan and processes to support the execution of our calendar. The Sr. Content Marketing Strategist will ensure the successful delivery of the all the content assets in our editorial calendar, and other assets in response to changing market needs. The Sr. Content Marketing Strategist will orchestrate the delivery of all these content assets via a tight-knit content marketing team consistent of both internal and external resources. In a short amount of time, other B2B enterprise software companies will be saying “I wish that we could do content as well as”

Your Opportunity

  • Deeply understand our buyers, their motivations, challenges, preferences, needs, and desired knowledge and information – on an ongoing basis
  • Internalize our brand narrative and story
  • Craft our innovative ‘video-first’ business communication “ Editorial Calendar” to engage these buyers and keep top-of-mind continuously
  • Develop the plan and processes to deliver the content in our editorial calendar
  • Engage the internal and external content marketing resources necessary to deliver the content per our editorial calendar o This includes long-form video, podcast, long-form written, and organic social
  • Innovate new content marketing concepts and assets as part of’s ‘video-first’ content marketing approach
  • In partnership with Product Marketing, as part of our editorial calendar, drive and deliver at least 50% product marketing content as part of our content engine
  • In partnership with Demand Generation, as part of our editorial calendar, craft and drive experiments to effectively test our content assets with our target buyers and subsegments
  • In partnership with Community, as part of our editorial calendar, drive and deliver customer relationship-building content as part of our content engine
  • In partnership with HR, as part of our internal communications efforts, help drive and deliver employee engagement and relationship-building content and communication programs
  • Enable the CEO and Sr. Executives to be thought leaders in the business communications category
  • Serve as “Editor-in-Chief” for

What You’ll Need to Bring to

The top candidate will simply be an exceptional communicator. We’re in the business of business communication, so our Sr. Content Marketing Strategist must be a standard-bearer for exceptional communication in everything that they do and touch. In addition, the top candidate is experienced with the top performing content marketing engines today – video, podcast, and written. While we don’t expect the top candidate to be an editor in all these formats, we do expect them to have direct experience with all formats; and for their exceptional communication skills to enable them to serve as “Editor-in-Chief” for all content produced across all mediums. This results-driven person will be able to drive a content marketing strategy that accelerates our pipeline and enables to win more business quickly.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, or Marketing with an emphasis in Communications
  • 5+ years of progressive career success in an enterprise B2B SaaS Communications role
  • Exceptional communications skills and expert editorial review
  • Demonstrated experience driving winning B2B content marketing strategy and execution, with a special emphasis on long-form video, podcast, and written content
  • Loves owning the brand narrative and story
  • Innate ability to understand our buyer’s motivations, challenges, preferences, needs, and desired knowledge and information
  • As an exceptional communicator, it goes without saying that you have a passion for transforming how businesses communicate and helping individuals within enterprises shine in their communications
  • The expertise and creativity to craft innovative content marketing campaigns and programs and the analytical strength to determine if these activities are successful
  • Proven ability to be an industry driving-force via brand evangelism
  • Extensive experience developing content marketing assets, communication tools, and top-notch editorial
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive internal and external content marketing resources and influence coordinated editorial success
  • A sense of urgency and desire to work and win with a team of smart, hard-working and collaborative people
  • Natural curiosity for emerging technologies and the ability to apply those technologies as innovative solutions for to communicate best in the market
  • Strong project management, negotiation and decision-making skills
  • Relentlessly focused on the details in each and everything that you do
