About the Position

We’re seeking an exceptional Sr. Product Marketing Strategist to shape our enterprise category and fuel our go-to-market success. In our view, an exceptional product marketer understands intimately the market and the product. They know who to target, when to target them, and why what we’re building matters. An exceptional product marketer is equally gifted at four key principles: a market ambassador, a market strategist, a product messenger, and a product evangelist. Exceptional product marketers shape go-to-market strategy, develop deep customer, market, and product insights, and translate our collective efforts into market-facing efforts deliver product and company success.


In order to outpace our business objectives, the Sr. Product Marketing Strategist will need to creatively collaborate with product, engineering, content, creative, demand generation, community, customer success, finance, and other key team members in order to effectively position, message, and launch product platform and solutions to market. You’ll develop and evangelize our product platform and solutions stories through our sales channel, partners, and every other market touchpoint. As the Sr. Product Marketing Strategist, you will uniquely position’s product platform and solutions in the market to win.


Over the first 3 months, the Sr. Product Marketing Strategist will develop an in-depth knowledge of our business, the market, our customers, and their business challenges. The Sr. Product Marketing Strategist will develop and refine positioning and messaging, personify our target buyer, and launch new product capabilities and solutions to market. The Sr. Product Marketing Strategist will create and deliver innovative product marketing assets designed to effectively shape our category and simultaneously position to win in the market. The Sr. Product Marketing Strategist will internalize our brand narrative and unique point-of-view on our category; and then in your voice, evangelize, our product platform, and our solutions via organic social channels and industry communities.

Your Opportunity

  • Perform market and customer research – determine what matters in and around our developing category, what’s the engagement model of the people influencing the category conversation, what’s the perception of our product, and how best to influence our desired position and perception of
  • Conduct competitive analysis – what is the competition saying and how is it shaping perceptions in the marketplace, what should we be saying to own our desired position and effectively better position ourselves against potential competitors (even if the competition is ‘how we do it today’)
  • Cement our product positioning – what is it, why is it different, and why should the world care
  • Define ideal customer profiles, target personas and value propositions for relevant market segments and solutions
  • Partner with the product team to develop value propositions and superior messaging
  • Develop go-to-market strategy for our enterprise product platform and solutions to optimize the effectiveness of our go-to-market resources and maximize the engagement and success of our customers
  • Develop sales enablement, tools, and communication assets including, but not limited to, product presentations, compelling demos and stories, internal training, battle cards, playbooks and value messaging guides
  • Own our product content editorial calendar and be the engine of product content through all mediums and channels including video, podcast, written, and editorial
  • Help drive marketing campaigns and programs around our product platform and solutions, as well help support the successful execution of these campaigns and programs
  • Evangelize to prospects, customers, partners, press & media, analysts, and other in-market stakeholders
  • Participate in strategic customer engagements to enable a winning approach to acquiring new business
  • Be a key enabler in the achievement of marketing’s #1 KPI – market-leading pipeline velocity


What You’ll Need to Bring to

The top candidate will have a balance of marketing, technical, business, communication, and customer skills and experience. In addition, the top candidate is experienced at successfully launching enterprise SaaS products to market through a direct sales channel and driven by achieving our mission and outpacing our business objectives and goals. This results-driven product marketer will have experience building and scaling a superior product marketing engine, and a relentless pursuit to be the best product marketer in the world. Finally, the top candidate will have been operating in enterprise SaaS for several years and will have a unparallel passion for helping companies and individuals be the best at business communication.


  • Bachelor’s degree in CS, CE, or Marketing with a heavy emphasis on technology, software, or business management
  • 5+ years of progressive career success in an enterprise B2B SaaS product marketing role
  • Demonstrated experience driving winning B2B product marketing strategy and execution
  • Loves owning the product message
  • Innate ability to understand our buyers intimately, or even better, have sat in their seat inside an enterprise
  • Passion for transforming how businesses communicate and helping individuals within enterprises shine in their communications
  • The expertise and creativity to craft innovative marketing campaigns and go-to-market solutions, and the analytical strength to determine if these activities are successful
  • Proven ability to be an industry driving-force via product evangelism
  • Extensive experience developing sales enablement tools, tools that not only get used, but are celebrated by our Sales Team
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive cross-functional teams and influence coordinated product go-to-market success
  • Superior communications skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders and all levels of management, both inside and outside
  • A sense of urgency and desire to work and win with a team of smart, hard-working and collaborative people
  • Natural curiosity for emerging technologies and the ability to apply those technologies as innovative solutions for to win in the market
  • Strong project management, negotiation and decision-making skills
  • Relentlessly focused on the details in each and everything that you do

  • Experience in the enterprise collaboration or communication space
  • MBA or other relevant Advanced Degree
