We are in search of a skilled and imaginative Video Editor to join our team in India. The perfect candidate will play a key role in crafting top-notch videos that align with the director's vision and are suitable for broadcasting. This position demands sharp attention to detail, storytelling prowess, and proficiency in video editing software

‍Responsibilities: 

• Editing and Assembling Footage: Cut video segments and put them together in a seamless and visually pleasing manner, ensuring logical sequencing and smooth transitions.
• Storyboarding: Work closely with the content team to visualize and create storyboards or shot lists for various projects.
• Color Correction and Grading: Enhance video quality by adjusting brightness, contrast, saturation, and color grading to achieve the desired visual aesthetics.
• Sound Editing: Edit and mix audio tracks, add background music, and sound effects, and ensure synchronization with video content.
• Graphic Design: Incorporate graphics, titles, and animations to enhance video content and maintain brand consistency.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with producers, directors, and other team members to understand project requirements and deliver compelling video content.
• Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest trends, techniques, and technologies in video editing to ensure the highest quality output.

Qualifications:

• Proven 5+ experience as a video editor with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe After Effects with advanced knowledge of 3D motion graphics. Knowledge of Cinema 4D, Helium, Blender, or Unreal would be ideal. A portfolio showing 3D motion graphic concepts that include the use of modeling, rigging, & lighting should be required.
• Solid understanding of video codecs, formats, and exporting for various platforms (YouTube, social media, broadcast, etc.).
• Strong storytelling skills and ability to transform raw footage into engaging narratives.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of motion graphics, animation, and visual effects is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in film studies, media production, or a related field.
